Bluegrass CDL Academy is conveniently located right off of Rockwell Road in Winchester KY.  We are the closest school for the residents of Fayette and Scott County, the two larger counties in the area.  Our location is a perfect spot for teaching city maneuvers as well as over the road skills.  Our range is a spacious 2 acre lot adjacent to our 4000 square foot building where our class room is located.  Inside our classroom, we use digital media to instruct our students from their permit testing all the way to their final exam.  We are here to see you succeed!

Bluegrass CDL Academy was started in March of 2016 by Susan and John McNeel.  The thought was to create a unique learning experience for the students by providing premier one on one learning with our instructors.  With over 35 years combined experience in the trucking industry, Susan and John know what it takes to make it in the industry.

John has been in freight operations since 2004 with several different companies.  His experience ranges from operations training to terminal manager.  His current role is building Bluegrass CDL Academy to be the largest commercial driving school in Kentucky.

Susan has been in freight industry since 1995 with several different companies.  While her expertise is in Account Management, she has worked as a pricing analyst and also been part of many project teams.

Together, they found Bluegrass CDL Academy on the premise of a better learning experience.
